COMMUNITY EVENTS CALENDAR:
At Santos we are taking a step to interact with your community.
Instead of just telling you about what we are doing (which is good) we
are
inviting you to interact with us, and others who either buy from Santos
or
are interested in the food and
lifestyle health of our country and planet.
Our first step in this initiative is the Santos Events calendar.
We
have made our events calendar interactive allowing you to add
your
own events directly
to it.
We welcome events about organics, sustainability, alternative energy,
community, and climate friendly events or technology.
Events proposing positive solutions and community involvement and/or
education are especially welcomed. The more people who share the
calendar
the better for everybody.
To add your community event , go to our website at
www.santostrading.com.au
and click on the "Add your event here" link
under
the events calendar at the left of the page.
Follow the instructions and press "add_event".
Please note: all events will be checked by our webmaster prior to
publishing.

Community Feedback:
We are also interested in hearing from communities affected by the
drought who have stories of how organic /alternative /community farming
practices have faired .
Is organic more or less drought resistant than conventional farming?. If
you would like to share your experiences email them to our webmaster.
We will publish suitable articles on our website. Articles should be
concise and be no more than 2 pages long. Articles will be proof read
before
publishing
in our articles /news section.
Articles on Organics :
We are interested in sharing your stories and articles
about organics and water conservation and re-use etc on our website.
We are happy to publish material you send us
to share it with others, by
publishing it in our articles section. Email articles to our
webmaster.
Articles should be concise and be no more than 2 pages long. (We are
happy
to link to longer articles). Articles will be proof read before
publishing
in our articles /news section.
In this way we can all share our ideas, as well as learn from each
others' practical experience.
Santos Goes "Green"
Santos has started reducing our carbon footprint by purchasing
Certified Green Power through http://climatefriendly.com . One
step in the process of making Santos carbon neutral.
Help the planet by lobbying government to increase the amount of new
renewable energy sources.
Christmas Holiday trading and On-line orders :
Our warehouse will be closed over the Christmas New-year period.
Last day for processing orders is 20th December 2006
Re-opening for orders on the 2nd January 2007.
Please feel free to place on-line orders during the above period ,however
note they will not be processed till the 2nd January 2007.
