1. The takeaway bar at our Mullumbimby mega store is, according to Craig and Elsbeth, going from strength to strength...yabbadabba. They sell fresh juices and salad rolls, nori rolls, cakes and Vietnamese rolls  Pop in and see the friendly folks there... including such Santos luminaries as Erik, Jason and Sol. They're all a legend in their own tea break. 
2. Look out!. Yes folks we are going to repeat the Santos $2 can of organic beans. Watch for your favourite beans soon appearing at a Santos store near you.
3. Stuart the Tofu Burger King at Byron Santos recommends enviroclean toothpaste. He says its the best thing since the wheel. 
4. On the 15 September Santos Byron will be taking part in the Taste of Byron between 10am and 4pm. We'll be selling organic tofu burgers and water -- the product of the future according to John our GM. 
5. Greg, another Santos legend, recommends our $2 vege soap. He had his monthly shower last week and swears by it. The soap is totally natural without any artificial fragrances.
6. Ryan the Warehouse Manager is adding to the ranks of the upper echelons with the announcement that he and Rachel are having a baby. Congratulations from us all. 
7. Craig tells us he doesn't like cars, although someone who looks like him, a double almost, maybe even a little bit better looking, has been seen to climb in and drive away in a particular sigma. Keep a look out for him cause he's a dead ringer.
8. Santos Mullum is now stocking personal lubricant. Its made from kiwifruit and is only $11.80. Just come in and give us a wink and we'll know what you want. We can even put it in a plain paper bag...and we won't tell anyone honest! 
9. Steve, the fruit and vege Manager at Byron is on a skiing holiday with his daughter.
10. Erik is back from Bali and is resident at Mullum once more, as well as at Funkey Forest. 
11. Heart space in Mullum is soon to lose Jane, our physio-massage therapist. She is returning to Denmark. Her love and gentle energy will be greatly missed. We wish you great happiness on your journey Jane.

Cattle consume 70% of all US grain.	55 Square Feet of Rainforest While not all hamburgers come from the rainforest, for every pound of rainforest beef, approximately 660 pounds of precious living matter is destroyed, including 20-30 different plant species, and dozens of birds, mammals and reptiles.	2,500 Gallons of Water It takes up to 2,500 gallons of water in the state of California to produce one pound of hamburger. This could be used to grow more than 50 pounds of fruits and vegetables. Half of all water consumed in the US is used to grow feed and provide drinking water for cattle and other livestock.
