The Future of food
Byronchild magazine presents an Australian screening of The Future of Food, a brilliant must-see documentary which examines the complex web of market and political forces that are changing what we eat.
The film, produced by Deborah Koons Garcia, is a chilling investigation into the Genetically Modified Organisms and foods that have quietly filled the grocery store shelves, and the multinational corporations that are seeking to control the world's food system.

The Organic Traders and Consumers Network and The Intuitive Well, in cooperation with byronchild magazine present The Future of Food in Bondi Junction.
The screening will be followed by a discussion, chaired by Catriona Macmillan, with Dr Judy Carman, who has degrees in science and medical research, and is a director of the Institute of Health and Environmental Research, which is currently undertaking safety tests of GM crops for the West Australian Government. She is one of only a handful of scientists in the world doing this kind of work.
