Climate Change Events

A number of climate change events and seminars are coming to the Nsw North Coast in the next few weeks.

1. You may be aware that Al Gore trained 85 Australians to give an updated and Australianised version of his powerpoint presentation  which "An Inconvenient Truth" is based on.  Three  of these guys will be coming down to the North Coast between Feb 9 and 15 to offer this presentation: 'An Inconvenient Truth - Al Gore's Climate Project'

Ruth Rosenhek and John Seed from the Rainforest Information Centre will be offering a multi-media presentation titled "Climate Change, Despair & Empowerment" on the North Coast from Feb 20-24.

This looks at what keeps us from feeling empowered to engage in an effective manner in these vast issues threatening our world and why its important for people everywhere to get together with their local communities to study the issues and act.
